Commissioning Technician

Commissioning Technicians are responsible for performing field inspections and testing of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in new and existing facilities.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Proof of Citizenship.
  • 5 years of documented experience in commissioning of HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Be able to perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Be able to work safely from ladders.
  • The ability to work alone and in groups.

Other skills and qualifications not required, but helpful are:

  • Previous training (documented proof is required).
  • Professional Licenses or Certifications.
  • Trade Licenses or Certifications.
  • Experience with environmental control systems (DDC, pneumatic, or analog/electric).
  • Experience with lighting control systems

Test & Balance Technician

Test & Balance Technicians are responsible for performing testing and balancing of HVAC systems in new and existing facilities.

TAB Technician duties include:

  • Air flow measurements
  • Hydronic flow measurements
  • Air and water temperature measurements
  • Air and water pressure measurements
  • Equipment and motor rotating speed measurements
  • Electrical and power measurements

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Proof of Citizenship.
  • 5 years of documented experience in testing and balancing of HVAC systems.
  • Experience with environmental control systems (DDC, pneumatic, or analog/electric).
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Be able to perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
