Commissioning Technician
Commissioning Technicians are responsible for performing field inspections and testing of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in new and existing facilities.
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Proof of Citizenship.
- 5 years of documented experience in commissioning of HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Be able to perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Be able to work safely from ladders.
- The ability to work alone and in groups.
Other skills and qualifications not required, but helpful are:
- Previous training (documented proof is required).
- Professional Licenses or Certifications.
- Trade Licenses or Certifications.
- Experience with environmental control systems (DDC, pneumatic, or analog/electric).
- Experience with lighting control systems
Test & Balance Technician
Test & Balance Technicians are responsible for performing testing and balancing of HVAC systems in new and existing facilities.
TAB Technician duties include:
- Air flow measurements
- Hydronic flow measurements
- Air and water temperature measurements
- Air and water pressure measurements
- Equipment and motor rotating speed measurements
- Electrical and power measurements
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Proof of Citizenship.
- 5 years of documented experience in testing and balancing of HVAC systems.
- Experience with environmental control systems (DDC, pneumatic, or analog/electric).
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Be able to perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Be able to work safely from ladders or scaffolding.
- The ability to work alone and in groups.
